5 Perfect Gifts For Your BFF This Christmas

It's that time of year: Christmas trees, eggnog, uncomfortable office holiday parties, once-yearly church attendance, cozy fires, hot cocoa, and 24-hour Christmas radio. Is there a better time of year or more stressful one? The holidays always bring up conflicting feelings for me, most of which revolve around gift-giving. Moving right on past my anxieties surrounding consumerism, family-at-Christmas (or lack thereof), and worldwide poverty, I annually find myself stressing about what to gift my loved ones. Such as my husband: what do I buy a man who unassumingly self-identifies as normcore and has all the sweaters and khakis he could ever hope for? Or, my in-laws: do they ever get tired of my wine-centric gifts? And we can't forget the office white elephant exchange: can I use the Andrew Lloyd Webber 6-Disc CD Collection I got at last year's white elephant exchange? So many Christmas quandaries.
As you can tell, I fret, and also might be terrible at gift-giving. But someone I never stress about finding gifts for is my best friend. We like all the same things. It's basically like buying a gift for myself. It's low stress, and actually fun for me. There have literally been times when I bought myself the same thing I bought her. So, as we embark on our annual holiday shopping excursions (or internet perusals, in my case), here's a compilation of my favorite gifts for our favorite life companions, our best friends.
1. How about an updated take on the friendship bracelet?
Such as this delicate, but rustic, leather bracelet.

Buy one for you and one for your bff, and when you look down at the two circles, you'll think of each other. Plus, this bracelet is just STUNNING.
Or possibly this golden beauty with a message.

My best friend and Bonded Co-founder, Sam, once gave me a bracelet with a really beautiful (and personal) message. Whenever I"m feeling blah or know I have a challenging day coming up, I throw on the bracelet she gave me for on-the-go encouragement.
2. Or maybe your bff is more of a graphic tee kinda gal?
I'm definitely a hilarious t-shirt wearer.

Things we both hate: poorly blended makeup, heavy metal, scary movies, Donald Trump, and people who think feminists are man-hating, crazy cat ladies.
3. Perhaps an aesthetically pleasing notebook to catalog all her thoughts and lists?
You can personalize this notebook with her name.

Or keep it real with this dictionary-inspired classic.

Every time she pulls out her notebook to make a grocery list, or to take notes during her snoozefest-of-a work meeting, she'll think of you and remember that she's loved.
4. What about some adorable earrings?
Like these "soul sister" beauties.

Who wouldn't want to don floral homages to friendship?
5. Maybe jewelry isn't her thing, but BUTTONS. Who doesn't love buttons?
They're so versatile! You can stick them on just about anything. Such as these darling hilarities.

I'm living for the two-halves of an avocado. Here. For. It.
5. If all else fails, surely a coffee mug, because who doesn't love coffee?
Caffeine makes all humans happy. Really excellent mugs to hold said caffeine makes all humans even happier. This mug has one of me and my bff's favorite sayings.

Or maybe you want her to know she embodies "I woke up like this" every morning.

Whatever you decide, just remember: don't overthink it. Your best friend is your best friend for a reason. She loves you, and no gift, perfect or terrible (guilty!), is going to change that. Happy shopping!
