Who are your favorite Hollywood besties?

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. There is no question that these ladies are hilarious - like really really hilarious - and I love a good laugh. But they are also bold, fearless and smart. They are paving the way for more female comedians to make their mark on the industry and they know how important and hard that is. I love women that get how important it is to support other women. Whether it is through their comedy or organizations like Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, you can tell these ladies just get IT! And with over 20 years of friendship under their belts -- they are certainly a duo to look up to.

Did you have a model of friendship growing up?

I am fortunate enough to say yes. My mom has always had wonderful and close female friends -- and I watched her value them. Those friendships, even as a child, were very clearly something of independent importance and choice for my mom. She wasn't just friendly with my friends' moms or only socializing with my dad's friends' wives, she had her own friends that she loved and cared for and choose for herself. Watching her and her gal pals was a great example and has a lot to do with how important my ladies are and always have been in my life.

What is your dream bestie vacation?

I would love to have a full blown over the top spa vacation. I would want it as fancy as you can possibly get (the more champagne and crystal chandeliers the better), because I love being fancy and only my bestie would truly appreciate that experience as much as I would.

Who is your non-human best friend?

I have two. Lolly and Arthur are my very furry, funny, naughty, little squishes. While I love them both equally, Lolly is my daily companion -- he loves to study and read and write (really he LOVES to press buttons on my computer) and keep me company. My days would be so lonely without him.

What is your favorite thing to do with your best friend?

Getting ready, hands down. I LOVE to get all done up. Doing our hair, our makeup, trying on every outfit we own, and dancing around the house to our favorite rap music. Having someone to do that with who enjoys it as much as I do is even more fun most days than actually going out. We have been known to spend hours doing our hair and makeup together to just sit on the couch and watch Bravo. We have even started getting ready together via FaceTime because having a long distance bestie means missing out on the little things and we were OVER that (we are problem solvers).
