We met in law school -- yes, we're lawyers, and yes, we quit our jobs for this! -- And like love at first sight, we knew our friendship was meant to be. Bonded was something we talked and dreamed about for years - seeing it become a reality has been remarkable. There are countless blogs, books, magazines, and newspaper articles dedicated to our romantic relationships. Not surprisingly, if you know us at all, we found something to be missing. Where are the stories about the women who are there with us through every stage of life? Where are the articles about our sisters by choice? We couldn't find nearly enough of them. At Bonded, we think it's time to celebrate our sisterhood and this totally unique relationship. With your help, we will be the voice that explores the fierceness that is female friendship.

WHAT IS BONDED
Bonded is an online magazine dedicated to celebrating the unique experience of female friendship and exploring the power that it holds. By amplifying the voices of real women in our communities, we tackle issues of the modern woman, share stories of real friendship, and highlight women doing remarkable things. At Bonded, we know that when women decide to support each other, and share in the other’s successes, we grow stronger as a collective, and live fuller, more resilient lives.
Stereotypes of dramatic, catty, downright untrustworthy “mean girls” are systemic in today’s society, and damage a woman’s likelihood of seeking and cultivating female friendship. We want to change this harmful narrative, and provide women with better examples of what female friendship looks like. At Bonded, we pledge to provide space for women to magnify their voices, explore our relationships with each other, and build stronger bonds. Ultimately, we hope to initiate a movement of women connecting, thriving, and championing our sisterhood.
Inclusivity and diversity is incredibly important to us at Bonded. As we carve out a space for women to grow personally and explore our understandings of one another, it’s critical that we include all women, regardless of age, race, ability, sexuality, or gender spectrum identification. To us, friendship is a topic that is so important, it’s apolitical and intersectional. If you have a story you’d like to share, or someone you’d like us to profile, we’d love to hear it.
